TeamTracs Terms of Service
In plain language
- TeamTracs accounts are for adults, including athletes, parents and guardians, coaches, and team administrators. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- Be respectful. No bullying, harassment, threats, sexual content, spam, or sharing someone's private information. We and team administrators can remove content and accounts that break these rules.
- You keep ownership of what you post. You let us show it to the people you share it with so TeamTracs can work.
- Results come from official and public sources and may contain mistakes. Tell us and we will correct or remove them.
- TeamTracs is provided as is. You can stop using it and delete your account at any time.
Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply to the TeamTracs website at teamtracs.com and the TeamTracs apps for iPhone and Android ("TeamTracs", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using TeamTracs you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use TeamTracs.
Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old. Athletes under 18 do not have accounts; team staff manage their team information.
- Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.
Teams and administrators
Coaches and team administrators control their team's settings, members, events, and posts. By running a team on TeamTracs, an administrator confirms they are authorized to do so for that team and will handle athlete information responsibly, including honoring an athlete's request, or a parent or guardian's request for a minor athlete, to correct or remove information.
Community rules
We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to:
- bully, harass, threaten, or target another person, or post hateful, sexual, or violent content;
- share another person's private information or athlete information you are not authorized to share, including information about a minor athlete without parent or guardian permission;
- post spam, scams, or unsafe links, or impersonate someone;
- try to access teams, accounts, or data you are not allowed to see, or disrupt or reverse-engineer the service;
- use TeamTracs for anything unlawful.
Every post, comment, and private message can be reported, and any member can be blocked. Private-message reports go to authorized TeamTracs support administrators; team roles do not grant access to private conversations. These community rules apply to private messages as well as News. Team administrators and TeamTracs review reports and may remove content, suspend accounts, or remove users, usually within 24 hours of a report. Report problems in the app or email support@teamtracs.com.
Your content
You keep ownership of the posts, comments, photos, and other content you add. You give TeamTracs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and share that content with the audience you choose, only as needed to run and improve TeamTracs. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups kept for a limited time. Only post content you have the right to share.
Results and athlete information
Meet results, times, and records come from official meet postings, timing companies, and other public sources, or are entered by teams. They are provided for information and may contain errors or be incomplete. They are not official records unless the meet says so. To correct or remove a result or information about an athlete, contact the team administrator or support@teamtracs.com; we respond to removal requests from parents and guardians promptly.
The service
TeamTracs is free to use today. We may add, change, or remove features, and we will give notice before charging for anything you already use. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts other users at risk.
Disclaimers and limits
TeamTracs is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that notifications will always arrive; always confirm important schedule changes with your coach. To the fullest extent the law allows, TeamTracs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
App stores
If you use a TeamTracs app, the Apple App Store or Google Play terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for TeamTracs or its content, and have no obligation to provide support for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and give notice of significant changes on the site or in the app. Continuing to use TeamTracs after a change means you accept the updated terms.
